Second round of cold immersion for deeper benefits and resilience-building.

Gentle movement to rewarm the body, followed by a nourishing wrap and banana bread to finish the evening.

Cold Therapy & The Benefits

Cold therapy, or cold water immersion, involves briefly exposing the body to cold temperatures to activate natural healing and resilience. It’s a simple yet powerful tool for both physical recovery and mental clarity. In fact, it’s a key part of daily life in many Nordic countries often credited as one of the reasons behind their long, healthy, and disease-free lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've never done cold plunge before - is it suitable for beginners? 

Absolutely. The session is fully guided, with breathwork and expert support to help you feel safe, calm, and in control throughout.

How cold is the water?

The plunge pool will be between 12–14°C - cold enough for the benefits, but safely managed and brief in duration.

Can I skip the cold plunge if I change my mind?

Of course. Participation is always your choice, and we’ll support you in whatever feels right for your body on the day.

Are there any health conditions that mean I shouldn’t participate?

If you have cardiovascular issues, circulatory problems, high blood pressure, epilepsy or are pregnant, we do not recommend you attending this event. For any other conditions you are concerned about please consult your doctor before booking. We’re happy to talk through anything in advance.

What type of Pilates will we be doing?

A dynamic, strength-focused session designed to energise and complement the cold plunge. It’s suitable for all levels, with modifications available.

How many people will be at the event?

Spaces are limited to keep the experience personal, supportive, and guided - expect a small group of no more than 10 people. 

Is this event suitable if I’m new to Pilates or haven’t exercised in a while?

Yes - both the Pilates and cold therapy are beginner-friendly. You’ll be fully supported to go at your own pace.
