Why we built this:
My kids grew up watching me on the mat. What started as a game, copying my moves, I soon realised was something bigger. They were learning their bodies, building confidence, and finding an outlet for all that energy.
And it made me think: if this could make such a difference for my family, why not for others too?
That’s why we created Pilates for Kids - simple, joyful movement you can do together. No pressure, no rules. Just a few minutes of fun, imagination, and connection from your living room.
Pilates has become part of our evening rhythm. My son is more grounded, aware of his body, and calm after school - it's honestly changed the mood in our home.

What is it?
10 short sessions (5–15 mins)

Each session introduces classical Pilates movements – such as bridges, side-lying leg work, core control, and posture exercises, but taught by Lou through stories and games to keep kids interested, engaged, and having fun.
Children in the UK spend on average 4.5 hours/day sedentary on screens – rising to 7+ hours during holidays (Ofcom, 2023). Just 10 minutes of meaningful movement can set the foundations for lifelong physical health.

What age is the programme suitable for?
The classes are designed for children aged 5–11, but younger or older siblings are welcome to join in too, it’s all about playful movement.
Do we need to follow the classes in order?
Nope! Pick any session that feels right for the day - there's no set order or progression, so it’s flexible to your child’s energy and mood.
How much space do we need at home?
Just enough room to lie down with arms outstretched. A yoga mat is great, but not essential, carpet or a clear floor space works too.
Can I do the classes with my child?
Absolutely! Many parents join in. It’s a great way to connect, move together, and model healthy habits without pressure.
What if my child loses interest halfway through?
That’s totally fine. The goal isn’t perfection, even a few minutes of movement is a win. The themes help keep things playful and fun.
Do I need to supervise my child?
We recommend staying nearby, especially for younger children, but the sessions are simple, safe, and easy to follow independently for most.
How do I access the classes?
You can watch online via our platform, use the LIVE BRAVE app, or Chromecast to your TV - whatever works best for your home setup.
